Leicester City won an appeal against a decision that could have led to a points deduction similar to the punishment Nottingham Forest were dealt last season
Jeff Stelling has suggested Nottingham Forest should be one club feeling aggrieved over Leicester City winning their appeal over an alleged breach of the Premier League ’s profit and sustainability rules .

"I wonder how - and I’m not saying it is the same situation - but I wonder how fans of Nottingham Forest for example or Leeds United or Everton are going to feel about this?" Forest meanwhile maintained their place in the division that term, came under investigation over breaches of PSR regulations retrospectively during the 2023/24 campaign and were deducted four points as a result.
