Plus there are now Jellycat cafes in cities like London, Paris, New York, and Shanghai, as well in Selfridges in Manchester.
With such high demand, new collection releases see fans scrambling to get their hands on them. Recently, Harrods department store in London witnessed a frenzy as crowds burst through its doors for the exclusive teapot and teacup plushies. Harrods' shelves now feature Vicky the teapot, Seb the teacup, and Cheryl the cake, complete with its own cake box. Social media was abuzz with video clips showing people queuing for 45 minutes before the store opened, and staff members struggling to control the throngs pushing inside. 'Fully grown adults running for some toys at 9 o'clock in the morning is crazy,' commented one onlooker. Shivani Khosla, a fan, remarked: 'People have been literally queuing for hours for the new Harrods' exclusive Jellycats.' She added: 'There were so many I really thought it would go out of stock.' A fan of the Cheryl cake, which costs £45, took to TikTok to express her delight. Saashi London, as she is known on the platform, also praised the Vicky teapot, priced at £32.95, and the Seb teacup, costing £19.95. She said: 'Displays look insane.
