Jennifer Lopez is keeping her New York wardrobe simple—give or take a fur coat. Ever since the 54-year-old superstar was spotted house hunting in New York City—or, more accurately, brownstone hunting—I’ve noticed the Hustlers star adopting a very specific spring uniform. While shopping around with husband Ben Affleck, the singer was dressed in a striped turtleneck sweater, wide-leg jeans, and platform pumps—with a black wool coat thrown over top.
Over the weekend Lopez spent “Girls’ Night” with Maid in Manhattan producer Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas wearing one of the quietest looks I’ve ever seen from the “Let’s Get Loud” singer…if you don’t count the $100,000 Birkin bag. As you can see on Instagram, she wore a similar pair of jeans with a cropped white sweater and some gold accessories, keeping her hair slicked back in a low bun. And yes, her platform pumps were platforming.
