Jeremy Corbyn met the Prime Minister today for discussions but said the talks were ‘useful but inconclusive’.
He said he’d hoped Mrs May would have changed her position more after putting forward his party’s view on Brexit, including wanting a public vote. Mr Corbyn said: ‘We had a discussion and there hasn’t been as much change as I expected but we are continuing to have some discussions tomorrow morning to explore some of the technical issues.Mrs May announced she was willing to meet Mr Corbyn yesterday to find a deal that would allow her to obtain a short delay to Brexit at an emergency EU summit on April 12.
