Jeremy Corbyn has said he has ‘no intention of stopping’ representing his North London constituency after being blocked from running as a Labour candidate at the next election.
Mr Corbyn appeared to confirm he would run as an independent candidate with his latest comments, before adding: ‘I will not be intimidated into silence’.
But his motion cited the dismal defeat Mr Corbyn led Labour to in the 2019 general election, which saw the party get its lowest number of seats since 1935 and support in its former heartlands crumble.
