Jeremy Hunt wants to bring back fox hunting, which would overturn a ban introduced in 2004 The Tory leadership hopeful said a parliamentary vote would be in his manifesto despite the majority of the general public being against the ‘barbaric sport.’
Mr Hunt spoke to the Daily Telegraph and said he would support a vote in Parliament when there was a majority in the Commons likely to back the move.‘Look, I think we have to recognise it’s part of the countryside. Ballot papers have been sent to the estimated 160,000 Conservative Party members who will decide the new Prime Minister.
