After five years, Jeremy Kyle is set to appear on ITV in an episode of Kate Garraway's Life Stories. Kyle will discuss his career and the impact of the controversy surrounding the death of a guest on his former show, The Jeremy Kyle Show.
Jeremy Kyle is set to return to ITV for an episode of Kate Garraway ’s Life Stories, five years after his daytime show was axed. The TalkTV presenter, 59, famously fronted The Jeremy Kyle Show from 2005 to 2019, tackling relationship issues, from cheating scandals to drug use. His programme was scrapped following the death of a guest named Steve Dymond , who took his own life just one week after filming for the show.
An inquest concluded there was no ‘clear and reliable causal connection’ between Dymond’s appearance on the show and his suicide. Kyle has spoken of the ‘huge toll’ the case had taken on him. Speaking out, Kyle said the inquest findings have exonerated him of accusations regarding Dymond’s death. Kyle joined TalkRadio Drivetime in 2021, and in April 2022, he announced his return to television to present a primetime show for TalkTV
