A video of the scene after the crash showed the police cruiser pointed in the wrong direction up against the curb on MK Drive, and debris scattered across the roadway.
A Jersey City police was involved in a three-car crash on Martin Luther King Drive Thursday, leaving at least three people — including two police officers — with injuries.
A small child was also among the people injured in the crash that occurred at approximately 11:15 a.m., police said in radio transmissions. A woman also complained about injuries to her legs. Jersey City spokeswoman Kimberly Wallace-Scalcione later said at least three people were injured in the incident on MLK Drive between Dwight and Stegman streets. The cruiser and another vehicle collided, Wallace-Scalcione said, and the impact apparently threw the police car into a parked vehicle.Barkouch should stay on JCBOE; State should investigate school board coup | LettersIf you purchase a product or register for an account through a link on our site, we may receive compensation.
