The homeless encampment in the 32-acre woods is about a decade old and borders residential homes.
A section of in Neptune Township that houses dozens of people experiencing homelessness may be on its way to shutting down after the property owner filed court papers to force them out, according to township officials.Jason Klein, the attorney representing the Neptune Boulevard Development Group, did not immediately return calls to comment.
At the April 8 township committee meeting, Neptune Township Business Administrator, Gina LaPlaca, provided the public with an update.
