Noemie Fox, younger sister of four-time Olympic medallist Jess Fox, has all but secured her spot at the Paris Olympic Games.
Paris 2024 will be a real family affair for Australia's most famous paddling family, the Fox's, after Jess's sister Noemie earned Australia an Olympic quota spot in the kayak cross in Prague.
"The semifinal with the reigning world champion, past world champion and European medallist was probably the hardest thing. Fox, who will appear at her first Olympic Games, is the latest in a paddling dynasty that started with her father — British paddler Richard Fox, a 10-time world champion and bronze medallist at the 1992 Olympics — and her mother, Myriam Fox-Jerusalmi, who won a bronze medal at the 1996 Games for France.
