The Irresistible artist, 44, teased something in the works on Thursday as she posed for a photo outside of Henson Recording Studios in Los Angeles .
Captioned only with a musical note emoji, Simpson's post comes after she previously teased a new project 'I'm doing this as a mother now, as a wife. I was a wife last time, but this is a very different marriage,' she told Bustle in July 2023. 'Then I'm like:"This is not competitive, Jessica. Let your daughter enjoy Katy Perry." But there's moments that make me want to do it - for them to see that color of me,' she added.
In December, she shared, 'I'm feelin' extra grateful today for excitin' new opportunities and inspirin' meetings regardin' music and new entertainment endeavors' 'I was too nervous to go back to my career until I felt my kids were confident enough in school and in life,' she said in September. 'I wanted to be a mom first.'
