A Jet2 flight to Tenerife was diverted after a 'technical issue' today. Flight tracking services reported that Jet2 flight LS633 was forced to divert to Manchester due to the issue. A spokesperson for Jet2 said: 'We can confirm that flight LS633 from East Midlands to Tenerife South diverted to Manchester Airport earlier today, due to a technical issue.
' The flight departed from East Midlands Airport at 8.51am this morning, February 6 and landed at Manchester Airport at 11.25am. This was an hour and 35 minutes earlier than its scheduled arrival in Tenerife. The plane was in the air for a total of two hours and 34 minutes before landing. A live map tracker provided by flightaware.com shows the route of the Jet2 flight before it was forced to return to England.
