The aviation and holiday giant is hoping the extra days will help their staff during this 'challenging period'
Jet2 is giving its staff four extra days of holiday this year to thank their staff and allow them to focus on their wellbeing.
BALPA, the British Airline Pilots Association, called out Jet2 in July and said it had failed to "recognise increasing concern from its pilots about fatigue and stress caused by roster disruption". The union also said Jet2 had "always been anti-trade union" and asked the company to listen to BALPA and its pilots.
Holidaymakers have also been hit by disruption to their flights and holidays with Jet2 also affected. J et2 slammed Manchester Airport with their executive chairman Philip Meeson saying : “Most of our 10 UK base airports have been woefully ill-prepared and poorly resourced for the volume of customers they could reasonably expect.”
