The airline is urging passengers to allow extra time to get to the airport
Jet2 has issued a warning to any passengers set to depart Spanish holiday destinations, urging them to “allow plenty of time” to get to their airport due to a transport workers strike. The industrial action is taking place today, Monday October 28.
All Jet2.com flights are currently scheduled to operate on time. Those travelling with a Jet2holiday will be contacted if their transfer times are due to change and the holiday firm added “we are working to minimise any impact to your journey”. In a statement on its website, Jet2.com said: “We have been made aware that there is a Spanish transport workers strike taking place on Monday October 28 2024. The strike is expected to affect transport across many Spanish destinations so please ensure you allow plenty of time to arrive at your departure airport.
