Jim Carrey has revealed that he wants to retire from acting after Sonic the Hedgehog 2, saying he enjoys his spiritual life away from the spotlight.
star explained that it would take some convincing for him to return to our screens.
"It depends if the angels bring some sort of script that's written in gold ink and it says to me that it's gonna be really important for people to see, I might continue down the road. But I'm taking a break." Carrey went on to discuss his hobbies outside of acting and stressed that he now wants to live a more peaceful life outside of the Hollywood spotlight.
"I really enjoy my quiet life and I love putting paint on a canvas and I really love my spiritual life. I feel like – and this might be something you don't hear another celebrity say as long as time exists – I have enough. I've done enough. I am enough."
