Ballymena United beaten 1-0 by Glenavon at fog-hit Showgrounds
Jim Ervin was not for using the weather as an excuse as Ballymena United slipped to a 1-0 defeat at home to Glenavon on Saturday.
Ervin, who was less than impressed with his side's showing, said it was different on the pitch adding blaming the conditions was "a coward's way out"."No, definitely not," said the Sky Blues boss when asked if he had any issue with the weather. But for the heroics of United goalkeeper Sean O'Neill the hosts could have been dead and buried by half time.
Things failed to improve after the break leaving Ervin frustrated his side failed to trouble the Lurgan Blues rearguard.
