Aberdeen manager Jimmy Thelin put his side's Premier Sports Cup semi-final horror show defeat to Celtic behind him by meeting up with Sir Alex Ferguson to take in a Manchester United game at Old Trafford.
But before that, Thelin and club chief executive Alan Burrows joined Gothenburg Greats John Hewitt and Ferguson in the corporate section for the 1-1 draw between United and Chelsea on Sunday. The Red Devils have confirmed Sporting Lisbon head coach Ruben Amorim as their next man in the dugout, but with ex striker Ruud van Nistelrooy still in interim charge played, saw a second half penalty cancelled out by Chelsea's Moises Caicedo.
