JLS star Oritise Williams has opened up about his heartbreak after he and his wife Kazz suffered two miscarriages, admitting he's been 'to hell and back' in recent years
JLS star Oritise Williams has bravely opened up about the heartache he and his wife Kazz have faced after suffering two miscarriages. The 37 year old singer, who shot to fame on X Factor in 2008 alongside bandmates Marvin Humes, Aston Merrygold and JB Gill, spoke candidly about his personal struggles on GB News with Peter Andre and Ellie Costello.
Sadly, Oritise thought he was supporting his wife by hiding his emotions, but he soon realised this wasn't the best approach. He said: "I had seen her, and been by her side, and seen her go to hell and back. Together we went through that. Something that Kazz would have wanted to see from me was that sensitivity and that emotion. But as a man, I thought being strong, was to bottle up the emotions and just show her that I was being strong for her. But being strong is talking about it.
He recalled: "When my wife first forced it out of me, how I felt, I ended up a mess on the floor. I was crying, almost inconsolable. We cried together. I needed that release so badly, it came out in a flood of tears and emotions. Ever since, I have been able to speak to other men, who have shared their own experiences and we have cried together.", reports the Mirror.
The singer is now an independent artist and was keen to speak about his excitement on launching a solo career and feels he is now at a point in his life where wants to be authentic.
