Joanne Froggatt returns to television in the new series North Shore , airing on ITV on January 4th. The six-part series follows two detectives, played by Froggatt and John Bradley, as they investigate a complex murder case. Viewers can stream the entire series on ITV X. Froggatt, 44, is best known for her roles in Downton Abbey, Liar, Coronation Street, Murder in the Outback, and Life on Mars.
She recently welcomed her first child, a three-month-old baby, in September 2024 after announcing her pregnancy in June. While she has not publicly disclosed the identity of the baby's father, Froggatt was seen out with a man named Mark last year.
