A former political candidate in the US has described her discomfort after Joe Biden allegedly gave her a"big slow kiss" on the back of her head at a rally in 2014.
The claim against the former vice president comes as he considers whether to seek the Democratic nomination to run against Republican US President Donald Trump in the 2020 contest for the White House. Lucy Flores, a former Nevada state representative and the 2014 Democratic nominee for Nevada lieutenant governor, said the alleged incident had left her feeling"uneasy, gross, and confused" and that it was"demeaning and disrespectful".A spokesman for Mr Biden said he does not recall the alleged incident.
Writing in The Cut, an outlet of New York Magazine, Ms Flores wrote that she and Mr Biden had been waiting to take the stage during a rally in Las Vegas before the 2014 election.She said:"I felt two hands on my shoulders. I froze. 'Why is the vice president of the United States touching me?'
