President Biden was asked if the company that chartered the ship that caused the Baltimore bridge collapse should be responsible.
President Joe Biden said on Tuesday that the federal government should front the bill to rebuild the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, Maryland, following its collapse.'It's my intention, that the federal government will pay for the entire cost of reconstructing that bridge,' Biden said during a press conference. 'And I expect Congress to support my effort.
In total, eight individuals were believed to be working on the bridge at the time.'Six are being searched for right now,' Wiedefeld said. 'One was taken to a hospital and one is not in the hospital.'When asked about possible vehicles on the bridge at the time of the collapse, Wiedefeld said, 'We believe it's the construction crew.
