All the latest Leeds United news ahead of this weekend's Championship game with Plymouth Argyle

Young Leeds United striker Joe Gelhardt will not need surgery on the hand injury he suffered in training - but has been ruled out of this weekend's game with Plymouth Argyle.

However, that won't happen this weekend when Plymouth make the long journey to West Yorkshire, although at least Farke was able to confirm that Gelhardt will not need an operaton. The Dutchman, who has skippered the Whites since the end of the October international break, will hope to return to action to face Rotherham United later this month, but Farke was careful not to put a timeframe on his injury during his pre-match press conference on Thursday afternoon. The Whites boss also revealed that Charlie Cresswell has not trained this week due to personal reasons and could not confirm whether he would be available for selection.
