Joe Gomez has opened up on the support he's received from Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp after his first England call-up in nearly four years.
Gomez has 11 caps for England to his name across his career, and he'll be hoping to add to that with appearances against Brazil and Belgium. The Liverpool centre-back has made 41 appearances in all competitions this season, and has thanked Klopp for the support he received after being called up to the Three Lions squad.
"The gaffer at the club is one of a kind and I obviously owe a lot to him," said Gomez, via Liverpool's club website. "He has been probably the biggest influence on my career, or definitely.
