Leeds United were 'not good' enough at Ewood Park
Centre-back Joe Rodon said sorry to Leeds United's travelling fans after their below-par performance against Blackburn Rovers. Daniel Farke's side struggled to get going in Lancashire in front of 7,000 plus supporters and suffered a third league defeat of the season.
United poured forward in search of an equaliser after the restart but were wasteful in front of goal. "We had clear chances in the first half to score a goal," stated Wales international Rodon. "But when you don't score goals against these teams, you know what they are doing to do. They change system and park the bus. It is what they always do. We know everything about these teams. We come prepared and we know everybody changes their system against us.
Next up for Farke's men is a home clash with Derby County on Saturday, December 7. Rodon said: "We have fallen short again but, for me personally, I can't wait to go again, and I'm sure the team is raring to go and are very angry in there . We have to dust ourselves off and get ready to go again at home next week."
