Audience members paying to see Waitress the Musical at London’s Adelphi Theatre from next month may have to deal with more than long queues for the loos and overpriced Häagen-Dazs. There may be a lot more selfie-taking in the stalls, more fiddling with phones during the show, and more screaming at key points in the show. All of which is easily explained: YouTuber Joe Sugg has been announced as the musical’s latest cast member.
