Joe Wicks has revealed that despite baby number four being on the way, him and wife Rosie are planning even MORE kids! Chatting on The Netmums Podcast, the health and fitness guru said he asked his wife Rosie whether this pregnancy and baby is their last.
‘They annoy me a lot, but I also love them. So much. I love being around them because I love seeing them learn and I’m teaching them and they’re evolving and growing and it’s wonderful just seeing that my personality and my sort of DNA is rubbing off on them a little bit.‘My kids are nurturing’ Joe revealed how excited his two eldest children — Indie, 5, Marley, 4 — are about another brother or sister arriving and says he’s hoping their youngest, 18-month-old Leni, will adjust to the transition.
‘I want to scream and shout’ He may like chaos, but Joe Wicks seems like a very chilled out parent to us. He told podcast hosts Wendy Golledge and Alison Perry that while he does practice gentle parenting, it’s not something that comes naturally to him, due to the way he was brought up. ‘So in my head, I’m screaming and shouting to my kids, but I try my best to kind of have a breath, trying to sort of have a moment, and then I obviously try and react differently.’
‘And so I see the impact that role modelling has on children. And I know it’s hard when you’re really busy and you’ve got loads going on, but you’ve got to find those little 10-15 minutes windows to get your kids doing something that’s active, that’s physical. I really think it’s so important, the role modelling side of it.’
Each week we bring you a terrific lineup with guests talking all about parenting, celebrity, money and much much more.A new study has revealed that changing how we measure children’s health could achieve more accurate results. Currently, the National Child Measurement Programme sees health professionals visit primary schools in England to weigh and measure all Reception and Year 6 pupils. The data is then used to calculate each child’s BMI which determines how healthy that child is.
‘NO – let’s stop weighing kids and teaching them to focus on weight loss’ Alison Perry has opted her three children out of the NCMP at primary school But it’s not. Yes, it’s one aspect, but there are lots of other indicators of health we can look at, to determine how healthy a child is. Joyful movement Importantly, a 2021 inquiry ordered by the House of Commons recommended an urgent review of the NCMP.
I think its fine to weigh them at school but I think it shouldn’t be a fat-shaming exercise. Instead, it should be done in the context of looking at body composition, like a mix of PE and Biology. I believe there shouldn’t be a fear surrounding weight and that educating children about it should be approached in a biological manner.
I think its important for children to understand their body composition and the school could help families with this. I do not agree with getting children lined up, weighing in front of each other and sending a letter telling parents to put children on a diet.Related content Meet Britain’s Coupon KidIt might sound too good to be true but Aldi is recruiting shoppers to try its wine – for free.
All they need to do in exchange is post an honest review of the wine on their social media channels using the hashtag #AldiWineClub. ‘It helps the buying team shape wine ranges into what they are – great tasting, award-winning, delivering on both quality and price. We look forward to welcoming the next thirty Aldi Wine Club members on board.’
3. Sniff: ‘You don’t really taste wine, you smell wine – so this stage is important,’ says Sam. ‘Take short, sharp sniffs rather than breathing in deeply for a long time.’ Some council’s still have money left from the current round of funding, while others are waiting to see how much they will be allocated in the extended round.
What help is being given out? Bromley Council is to give out £200 in the form of a virtual payment card to eligible applicants, which can be used for online or over-the-phone payments. Those who have previously received help through the council since June 2023 will not be eligible for help this time round, but anyone who benefitted from the support before 1 April 2023 can apply for the help, provided they meet the eligibility criteria.

Sure, we’ve all taken some supermarket popcorn and drink to sneak into a film before, but what about when the kids ask for a hot dog or nachos with cheese sauce?Casey shows how she takes freshly cooked hot dog sausages in a warmed flask and puts each sausage into a sliced finger roll before adding ketchup from a sachet.
‘Make sure the flask you add it to has had boiling water in for 15 mins to make it nice and hot, remove the water fully then add the cheese.’ Another thought it would encourage cinemas to enforce a no food rule, saying, ‘Unpopular opinion, but I think this is taking the p*ss. I get that it’s saving money. I’m all for taking in some sweets, popcorn, and some drinks but by doing this cinema’s are going to start enforcing no food is allowed to be brought it at all. Which then ruins it for everyone and then isn’t a very good hack!’
Prepare to be transported back in time to the golden age of courtroom drama in the stunning setting of London County Hall, where the timeless masterpiece comes to life. I would suggest you opt for the stalls but if you want to splash out there are VIP juror tickets where you’re sworn in and part of the show, which looked like lots of fun.

It comes as part of the DWP’s ‘managed migration‘ – where the government department is to phase out six legacy-style benefits within the next few years, to move people onto Universal Credit.
Which legacy benefits are being phased out? The DWP is to phase out six legacy-style benefits by 2028. However, most people receiving legacy benefits are likely to be switched over by March 2025.Why is this change happening? Anyone on these benefits will be moved over to Universal Credit, as part of a planned migration that will be completed by 2028.
However, they won’t be moved over automatically and payments will stop altogether if they don’t claim the newer benefit by this date. HMRC adds that, if you claim tax credits, your entitlement will end as soon as you apply for Universal Credit. It’s a single monthly payment that can be claimed by those who are in or out of work and have a low income. For working parents, it also allows you to claim back some of your childcare costs.
‘The rollout will see hundreds of thousands of parents access support with childcare costs for the first time, saving parents using the full 30 hours from September 2025 nearly £7,000 a year. For children who will be 9 months old after 31 August, you won’t get the free childcare until 1 January 2025, so although you can apply and get your code to pass on to your childcare provider, you won’t be able to use it until next year.
How do I apply for the 15 hours free childcare? If you’ve never accessed help with childcare before then you’ll need to register, which you can do via the Childcare Choices website. However, the government has since assured parents that they’re doing everything possible to guarantee places for September.
It’s a chemical treatment process on the brow hair, designed to remove the curl or kinks to make them lie flat and straight, using the same solution as lash perms. How do I maintain them? It’s important not to get your brows wet for 24 hours after they’re laminated, which will help them last longer. I’d been thinking about having it done for months so I finally took the plunge at the weekend and I’m glad I did!

Just be honest and tell your friends that you have got things to do for yourself and you have your own plans before going back to work. And maybe advise them to look for a nursery or other childcare as it’s becoming a bit too hectic for you!
And keep an eye on Netmums Instagram and TikTok every Friday and Monday where Dani will also be sharing her advice.
