Made a rare start with Hojbjerg inured and looked way off the pace the majority of the time, ineffective in pushing his team forward and doing little to stop Newcastle making progress in the other direction.Hadn’t start for nine months before this game but was full of energy and work-rate throughout. Couldn’t affect the game with much quality on the ball, though, in a system which looked as though it had too much in the middle and not enough in attack.
