EXCLUSIVE: Joey Essex and Jessy Potts were just a day away from a spot in the Love Island final and now but have shared some of the secrets from their time in the villa
Joey Essex and Jessy Potts unfortunately didn’t make it to the Love Island final but ever since they left the show, their love has continued to blossom.
“We got in trouble a lot for speculating as to what was going to happen day to day,” Jessy said. “We’d talk about it a lot and would get told off." Indeed, since finishing fifth on the ITV show, Joey has already come under fire from viewers for “faking” his feelings for Jessy and getting preferential treatment in the villa. He admitted last week that, “I was put in a situation where I had to do what I had to do. I’m there for a reason. I was in Love Island to entertain.” He was also accused by some fans of gaslighting, and displaying other "red flag" behaviour.
