Love Island's Joey Essex is the show's first-ever celebrity bombshell who's set to cause mayhem in the villa - and now his reality show fee has been reportedly revealed
Joey Essex made Love Island history on Monday night when he became the first celebrity contestant to take part on the show - and now the former TOWIE star's fee has been 'revealed'.
According to the Mail Online, ITV is not paying Joey anything extra to take part in the show, with the TOWIE star receiving £375 per week, which is how much contestants are usually paid. The amount is to cover contestants' rent and bills back at home while they appear on the show. "On Love Island, it is all about the exposure and for Joey, it means more than that too... He's looking for someone to settle down with, so it's not about the money he can make on the other side." OK! has reached out to ITV for comment.
