Legendary NHRA Funny Car driver John Force spent five days in an induced coma as doctors evaluated a potential brain injury.
, has emerged from an induced coma following a harrowing 300-mph accident during the NHRA Virginia Nationals seven days ago. The 75-year-old is predicted to have a long recovery, he also suffered other injuries in his melee with both concrete barriers, according to sources. The accident in Virginia is still being investigated by NHRA officials.
