WARNING: BLOOD AND DISTRESSING CONTENT - John Fury was left bloodied after headbutting a member of Oleksandr Usyk's entourage, and it's not the first time he's been seen taking serious damage
Although his boxing career may be long over, John Fury isn't ready to call time on his days of fighting.
He looked the part, too, after he was left gushing from a self-inflicted cut to the head following an unfortunate run in with the opposing camp. Usyk, 37, and Wythenshawe native Fury, 35, were absent from the room while the two teams got acquainted - and it's not the first time fans have seen John get hurt.
Fury Sr, 59, was first stopped by future WBO champion Henry Akinwande in October 1991 at the G-Mex Centre in Manchester. He then failed to have another professional fight for almost four years before he suffered an even more devastating fourth-round knockout loss to Steve Garber in June 1995.Coming back from two defeats of that nature is no easy task, although Fury has remained a fighting man and continues to live vicariously through his sons.
