John Henry did not respond when asked if Liverpool were going to make any signings before the end of the transfer window. The Reds are the only Premier League club yet to complete a piece of incoming business this summer. Arne Slot , who replaced Jurgen Klopp as the club's new head coach back in May, has overseen a number of departures but has failed to sign anyone during his time in charge.
Before Sunday's game against Brentford, a video on social media appeared to show a fan say: 'John, any signings,' as the American was walking out of the Anfield tunnel. Henry continued to stroll out and didn't react, refusing to say a single word. Speaking on Friday in his pre-match press conference, Slot was asked if he was bothered by the failure to bring in fresh faces. Responding to that, the former Feyenoord boss said: 'No, because I trust the team.
