The Hurricane is looking to secure a first UK Championship title since 2010.
The Hurricane, ranked 14th globally, comes into the clash as a hot favourite against the world number 60 and comfortably won 4-1 at the Scottish Open in 2023 the last time the two met. And Higgins will be keen to build on the performances that took him to the British Open final in September, before losing 10-5 in a dramatic final against Englishman Mark Selby - in a match that included a stunning opening session where both players' pot success rates sat at over 95 percent.
When does the match get underway? The first round match opens the afternoon session, with play underway from 1pm on Tuesday November 26.
