The Elroq will be the first of a string of six new BEV models from Skoda over the next few years and will be closely followed by the company’s smallest electric SUV, the Epiq.

Both 85 versions reach a top speed of 112mph and deliver a single charge range of more than 348 miles.A full charge on AC takes approximately 5.5 to eight hours, depending on the variant. The Swedish company - now owned by China’s giant Geely conglomerate - sees the mid-size V60 return in Plus and Ultra specifications with either the T6 or T8 petrol-electric plug-in hybrid powertrains while the larger V90 comes in the same trim choices.
