Country Star John Rich promised he will perform at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill 'rager' created out of a massive fundraiser.
A group of UNC Pi Kappa Phi members prevented an American flag on campus from touching the ground or being desecrated by pro-Palestinian protesters by surrounding the flag pole and holding it up. An anonymous group not affiliated with the fraternity set up a fundraiser that has since
toward a “party they deserve, a party worth of the boat-shoed Broleteriat who did their country proud.”on Thursday to respond to the speculation of how these thousands of dollars will be spent for the party. According to the musician, the party will now be called “Flagstock,” a patriotic take on the iconic Woodstock concert.
“I was so inspired by that, to see young people willing to stand up and — like you said, enough is enough — that I reached out and I said, ‘Boys, I sure am proud of you. When you have that big rager you guys are talking about on GoFundMe, I’d like to show up and play you a free concert,'” Rich said. “It’s going to be an absolute blast man. My phone has not stopped blowing up from artists telling me, ‘Hey, when that show happens, you better call because I’m going to be there.
Rich also implied he could write a song about the incident. His most recent release was a country rapcommitted to providing an “unlimited” amount of its product for the party.
