'I was in an acting class and there was a hot girl, said to me,"You know we're all meeting at this on Hollywood Boulevard, you should come after ,"' Stamos, now 61, recalled during an appearance on the Friends In High Places podcast. In the end, it was the combination of the invitation from a 'hot girl' and his love of all things John Travolta, who inspired him to give it a go and partake one of the meetings.
As for his acting hero, the Grease and Saturday Night Fever star is coming up on 50 years as a Scientologist next year, while in comparison Stamos only did last that one introductory session. 'I was doing a Peabody and Sherman and they didn't like that,' Stamos explained. 'Then, I was just f***ing around so much, they said,"Get out get going." They just kicked me out.'
Previously, in his memoir If You Would Have Told Me , the Cypress, California native shared a story of how a young lady named Mia handed him a workbook about the Church Of Scientology, along with some others books he had just accidentally left behind.
