JOHN Swinney has now completed the appointment of his full ministerial team after announcing his Cabinet on Wednesday.
The Scottish Cabinet will be supported by 14 ministers, reducing the size of the Scottish Government by four since the beginning of the year.Minister for Children, Young People and The Promise – Natalie DonMinister for Climate Action – Gillian MartinMcKee previously left the Scottish Government after being offered what he considered to be a smaller job.
Reacting to the news on Twitter/X, Scottish Health Secretary Neil Gray said: “Very sorry to see good friends @GeorgeAdam, @EmmaRoddickSNP and @JoeFitzSNP leaving Scottish Government this evening.We know there are thousands of National readers who want to debate, argue and go back and forth in the comments section of our stories.
