SNP Ministers have suffered a humiliating defeat over plans to ditch universal free school meals for all primary school pupils.
The First Minister suffered a second defeat after MSPs voted for the Government to reverse its decision to reintroduce peak fares. In the debate, SNP Education Secretary Jenny Gilruth said the Government's difficult finances explained the u-turn and blamed the Labour administration in London.
