John Terry has had his say on whether or not Chelsea should have been awarded a penalty during their Premier League clash against Arsenal.Posting to his 666,6000 X followers, Terry said: “Delighted we got the penalty but I don’t agree with the rules on this, very harsh on defenders. I would have been fuming if that was given against me back in the day. But happy now.
A second said: “It is a pen. All. Day. Long. You would have been screaming for it back in the day, JT. Mudryk's header was going towards goal, the arm stopped it. It is a pen.“The way rules for pen are as of now, it would have been harsh if Chelsea didnt get the pen, but yes we take every goal we get,” replied a third.
Another wrote: “VAR IS CORRUPT! The easiest way for those in power to alter the outcome of matches. Bring me back to the days where you could get away with a foul and not have to play the next 3 minutes scared. Disgraceful.
