Sickening texts Johnny Depp sent actor Paul Bettany about Amber Heard are read in court
Johnny Depp was back on the stand Thursday in his $100million defamation trial against Amber Heard. Under cross examination from Heard's lawyer Benjamin Rottenborn, brought up Depp's friendship with the British actor Paul Bettany. Rottenborn read out texts Depp sent to Bettany on June 11, 2013.
One of them read: 'Let's burn Amber!!!'. Another text from Depp read, 'Let's drown her before we burn her!!!''. Depp is suing Heard for $50 million over a piece she wrote in the Washington Post in which she described how she had been a victim of domestic abuse. She is countersuing for $100 million claiming Depp libeled her by calling her a liar
