Celebrating women in agriculture. Women represent more than 30 percent of farmers under the Jollibee Group Foundation’s Farmer Entrepreneurship Program , which enables smallholder farmers to enhance their technical and business skills so they can improve their harvest and their livelihood
In this piece, the Jollibee Group puts a spotlight on the stories of three women farmers who are proof that women can also thrive and succeed in agriculture work.Maricel Sevilleja of San Jose, Nueva Ecija; Noralyn Lopez of Tagudin, Ilocos Sur; and Bernadeth Carandang of Magallanes, Cavite are among the women farmers under the Farmer Entrepreneurship Program of the Jollibee Group Foundation , the social development arm of the Jollibee Group.
