Jon Rahm is not a fan of the drones flying overhead during the LIV Golf tournament broadcasts.
The Spaniard did not hold back after his tee shot on the sixth hole went into the water, which he seemed to blame on the buzzing of the broadcast drone above his head.“Every tournament. It’s f–king incredible. Right on my backswing. These f–king drones every time,” the microphones caught Rahm saying angrily.
It seems that it wasn’t the first time Rahm had been bothered by the drones, given the way his comment came off on Sunday during the LIV Golf Nashville event taking place at The Grove.Jon Rahm was quite upset with the drones at LIV Golf Nashville, which seemingly distracted him and played a part in his tee shot going into the water. The moment had to especially sting since Rahm was within two strokes of the leader at the time his ball went sailing into the water on the par 4 hole.
Rahm went on to make double-bogey, which was the worst score on the hole at that point for the golfers who had already completed the sixth hole.Jon Rahm withdraws from 2024 US Open due to foot infectionJon Rahm poses with the Masters trophy during the Green Jacket Ceremony after winning the 2023 Masters Tournament in Augusta, Georgia. The LIV Golf Nashville tournament was the first for Rahm since he had to withdraw from the US Open due to a foot infection.
