With Ngannou having recently parted ways with the UFC following a drawn out contract dispute, it seems unlikely a clash with Jones will happen anytime soon. UFC president, Dana White, was asked if it was a possibility in the post-fight press conference and he replied: “I tried to make that fight, it’s done, never going to happen.“We all want to see a fight, but the guys got to want the fight. Francis doesn’t want the fight and I can’t make him fight.”as his ideal first opponents.
