TV star, who is suffering from cancer, appeared at live event for the show - sparking fans to hope he was coming back
TV star Jonnie Irwin has spoken out after some fans suggested he might be making a return to A Place in the Sun on TV after he appeared at a live event in Manchester earlier this month. The Midland-born presenter who is battling terminal cancer took to Instagram to set the record straight - and said the TV show and live event were two separate things.
“Just to confirm @aplaceinthesunofficial is a separate company running the website and affiliated business and has supported me continuously though-out which I’m eternally grateful for. Here’s looking forward to the next one!”Some fans had wondered if he was going to return to the TV show. Grauholt said: “Glad to hear that Place In The Sun rethought their decision. You are an inspiration.”
