“The path to winning the World Series again will be as easy or as difficult as we make it. It will be like last year, with many ups and downs. I know that everyone here will try to give 100% to help the team,” Leclerc said. The Dominican pitcher confessed that it was not until he went on vacation to his native country that he had the time to reflect on the feat of having been part of the team that won the first World Series in the history of the Rangers.
Leclerc said that a month after the last out of the World Series was recorded, he went on vacation with Adolis García, Ezequiel Durán, and Leody Taveras to a beach in the Dominican Republic, and it was there where the four realized they had made history.“In a much more relaxed atmosphere, we began to talk about what the season was like,” he said.
