Jose Mourinho is now the manager of Turkish Super Lig side Fenerbahce.
At the time, he said: “First of all, I want to thank you for the love that I felt from the first moment that my name was connected with Fenerbahce .Mourinho added: “I want to work for Turkish football, I want to work for the Turkish league and help to improve, but the most important thing is Fenerbahce .“Just to finish I want to say that from the moment I signed my contract, your dreams are now my dreams.
“Everyone knows we have a rivalry with Fenerbahce. Social media is just another tool of communication. A lot has happened off the field in the past year, but we focused on the game and won the championship two years in a row. They tried to stop us, but they failed. Maybe this bothers them.” He added: “We will fight together against everyone. I don’t think it’s sensible to discuss these matters so early in the season.”
