Josie Gibson split fans on Monday morning as she detailed one of her controversial cooking habits while hosting the show. The presenter, who hosted alongside Craig Doyle, explained to guest chef John Torode that she 'always washes' chicken before cooking it.
"You don't need to wash it," assured John. "You don't really need to wash it, they're all clean. They're all done these days. If you wash it, it doesn't matter. A lot of cultures wash it in lime juice and all sorts of things happen, that's fine. It's not an issue."This interaction divided opinions amongst fans, who disagreed on whether you should or shouldn't wash your chicken.
During a show last week, Josie's co-host Craig cheekily made a remark about her love life. During a light-hearted exchange with a guest, Josie playfully accused Craig of "throwing her under the bus" as he teased about her prospects for finding love.
