Josie Natori celebrates the beauty of the Philippines with her spring-summer 2023 collection

Since she established her brand in 1977, Josie Natori has been championing Filipino fashion on the world stage.

Each piece of her Natori brand features the craftsmanship of Filipino artisans. That mission continues until today as she unveils her newest collection. Through her spring-summer 2023 line, the Filipino fashion designer is bringing the spirit of the Philippines abroad through vibrant pieces, inviting everyone to discover the beauty of the country one garment at a time.

The collection features many of Natori’s signature silhouettes—always elegant, relaxed, and full of colors. Among the pieces she showcased were resort pieces imbued with floral prints and embroideries. Kaftans, suit ensembles, and maxi dresses come in rich chartreuse, red orange, pink, and blue. One of her favorite pieces is a silk dress with a butterfly print draped for easy dressing.Her collection continued with neutrals.

To fully capture the beauty of the Philippines, Josie also released a catalog for the collection with images shot in Intramuros, Manila and Siargao Island, Surigao del Norte last November.“I’m very proud of it because not only is the collection inspired by my roots, the culture of the Philippines, the spirit and the craftsmanship, but we also photographed it in the Philippines,” Josie said. “Without the Philippines, there wouldn’t be a Natori. It’s really very part of the DNA of the brand.
