This article reviews the Jospers Steakhouse & Grill in Belfast City Centre, highlighting its delicious food, warm atmosphere, and efficient service. The reviewer shares their experience of sharing a starter, enjoying their main course of fish and chips and a bunless burger, and indulging in a delightful dessert.
Belfast City Centre has become a hotspot for top quality restaurants in recent years despite the pressures that the hospitality industry is under.
We booked a table for Saturday evening and headed down to see what it was like and were very impressed by its Jospers Steakhouse & Grill restaurant and almost had to be rolled out of the building once we had finished. For our main meals I decided to go for the fish and chips while my partner had a bunless burger. I thought that the fish and chips, which was a nice piece of haddock coated in a very tasty batter, was incredible and the chunky chips and mushy peas that came with it were also very good. I don't normally like mushy peas but I gave these ones a go and was quite surprised by just how good they were.
The sticky toffee was very good with a juicy and rich flavour and it was covered in a warm toffee sauce with a bit of vanilla ice cream, while my partner said the Eton mess was one of the nicest desserts she had in a long time.
