Darius Person, 29, and Gabriel Woods, 23, are accused of shooting 28-year-old Lloyd Burgess, who police say was committing the armed robbery with Person and Woods at the time he was killed. Upon arrival, officers located Burgess, and the Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department responded and pronounced him dead at the scene.Scene outside Normandy apartment on Feb. 27 following deadly attempted armed robbery
Woods was taken into police custody on unrelated charges and was interviewed on Tuesday. Investigators later obtained an arrest warrant for Person on Tuesday. He was apprehended by police and taken into police custody for an interview.
